Applications
This series of air-cooled electric spindle motors is designed primarily for use with variable frequency drives or engraving machines, as well as CNC routers. It is ideal for high-speed profiling, drilling, cutting, engraving, and groove milling across a variety of materials, including wood, metal, plastics, foam, and rubber.
Note: Ensure that the spindle motor and VFD are compatible. The VFD’s specifications and parameter settings must align with the spindle motor’s nominal parameters. Incorrect settings can lead to spindle motor damage or burnout.

Tips: Why use VFD for spindle motor?
- A VFD can make the motor soft start, and the impact on mechanical equipment is small.
The starting current of the VFD is smaller than that of the contactor, and the more frequent the working condition, the more energy-saving.
- It can be infinitely variable, and it is easy to meet the work requirements of elevators and other requiring smooth speed.
- Convenient for automatic control. The VFD has external control and local control, and can be selected at multiple speeds. With an encoder, the spindle motor can be accurately positioned, and the control is very portable.
- The internal protection is perfect, and variable frequency drives are equipped with various fault protection functions. When the spindle motor or power supply fails, it will actively report the fault, and at the same time output the on-off signal through the relay contact, which is convenient to cut off the external control contactor and output the warning signal.
