Tips: What is the role of a rotary union?

  1. The main function of a electrical rotary union is to solve the problem of wire entanglement of the device in 360° rotation. During the electrical design process, it is needs to connect the wires to the rotating parts. When the mechanical part is continuously rotating at 360° without restriction, there will be a wire entanglement problem. To ensure that the current or signal can be accurately transmitted to the rotating component, an electric rotary connector (commonly known as an electric rotary union or rotary joint) is required to transmit the rotational connection of power and signal.
