Tips: What is a servo motor?

A servo motor is a motor that controls the operation of mechanical components in the servo system. The servo motor can convert the voltage signal into torque and rotational speed to drive the control object, and its control speed and position accuracy are very precise. In the automatic control system, the servo motor can respond rapidly as an actuator to convert the received electrical signal into angular displacement or angular velocity output on the motor shaft. Its main feature is that when the  signal voltage is zero, no rotation will happen, and the rotational speed uniformly declines with the increase of torque. Servo motors are divided into two categories: AC servo motors and DC servo motors.
