Tips: How to Measure by Using a Measuring Tape?

To read a measuring tape, follow these steps:

1. Place the 0 mark of the tape at one end of the object.
2. Roll out the tape to the other end of the object.
3. Find the closest cm marking and count the remaining number of mm markings to its right. For example, if there are 3 markings after 9 cm marking, then the measurement would be 9.3 cm.
4. Similarly, for measuring in inches, read from the other side of the measuring tape.
