Tips: How to Prime a Magnetic Drive Pump?

  • Ensure the magnetic drive pump is turned off and disconnected from the power source.
  • Open the suction valve on the inlet side of the pump.
  • Pour liquid into the inlet until the pump is filled.
  • Close the suction valve.
  • Turn on the pump and let it run for a few seconds to ensure that it is working properly.

It is important to never run a magnetic drive pump dry as this can cause damage to the pump. Always ensure that the pump is primed with the appropriate fluid before turning it on.
