Tips: Lubricator of FRL unit troubleshooting
No oil drips in the lubricator
- Improper use of oil type, use normal turbine oil for disassembly and cleaning wells.
- The oil passage is blocked by foreign matter such as dust, disassemble and clean the oil passage.
- The oil surface is not pressurized, disassemble and clean the air into the housing part.
- Due to poor oil quality and poor fluidity, replace with new oil after disassembly and cleaning.
- Because the surrounding temperature is too low, the viscosity of the oil increases, so that the surrounding temperature is increased to the applicable temperature.
- The oil volume adjustment screw is defective, remove the well to clean the oil volume adjustment screw.
- The air flow direction of the lubricator is reversed, and the installation direction is changed.
The oil in the lubricator cover has condensate mixed in
- Excessive accumulation of condensate in the filter housing flows into the lubricator, discharges the condensate and regularly discharges the water in the filter.
The lubricator leaks
- The gasket is not well sealed, replace the gasket.
- Synthetic resin housing is cracked, replace the housing.
- The dripping window is broken, replace the window.
The synthetic resin cover of the lubricator and the oil drip window are damaged
- Used in organic solvent gas environment, using metal housing and glass window.
- The influence of special additives in compressor lubricants, switch to other types of compressor lubricants.
- The air inhaled by the compressor contains substances that are harmful to resin, so replace it with a metal housing.
- Clean the housing and the dripping window with organic solvents, and replace the housing (use neutral detergent for cleaning).
