Tips: Will 50Hz and 60Hz exchange affect transformer?

The influence of 50Hz/60Hz to the transformer and mutual inductor is similar to the contactor. The frequency change has no great influence to its performance. But it is mainly reflected in the loss and temperature rise. Therefore, it can be generally used in a certain design tolerance range. In addition, the transformer and mutual inductor of the same capacity designed by 50Hz is bigger than that of 60Hz in size, because satisfying the same voltage grade U≈E=4.44Fnbs, a lower frequency f will magnify the winding number N or increase the effective area S.
