Tips: How to maintain the portable digital dew point meter?

1. Cleaning and storage

  • Avoid cleaning the dew point meter with corrosive or solvent-based substances to prevent case damage.
  • Wipe with a clean wet cloth and detergent and store in an appropriate area of temperature and humidity.
2. Replace battery
  • When the battery is low, replace the 9V battery and securely close the battery compartment. Do not dispose of used or rechargeable batteries with household waste.
  • Users are legally required to return used batteries to designated collection points, retail stores, or other authorized battery distributors. Do not discard the portable dew point meter with household waste. End-of-life equipment must be taken to an authorized electronic waste collection facility for proper disposal.

3. Replace the probe

  • Turn the connecting nut clockwise and disassemble the old probe.
  • Replace the new probe: Connect the connector, slowly rotate the connector to find the docking hole position. After the hole position is aligned, tighten the connecting nut counterclockwise. After 2-3 turns, gently push the probe towards the long rod until the connecting nut is tightened. Then continue to tighten the nut until it is tightened. If you have any questions about replacing the probe, please contact the CCHN online store.
